Nicely balanced, smooth and bluesy single-coil sized humbucker pickup tone in a rail-style design (SCR-1). Highs are bright and dynamic while the midrange is slightly scooped.

The Cool Rails dual-blade single-coil sized humbucker will give the bridge position of your Stratocaster the vibe of a Les Paul. The Cool Rails’ medium output will give chords that thick humbucker crunch and single notes will have just the right amount of sizzle without being harsh. A Cool Rails in the bridge position matches very well with traditional single-coils in the neck and middle to add versatility to any guitar.

The Cool Rails neck delivers an articulate and full sound, much like a full-sized humbucker. Its medium output makes it a great sonic match for a Hot Rails, JB Jr., or any standard-sized bridge humbucker as well. Chords will be warm and articulate, with a subtle scoop in the mids, and solos will be fat and crisp. The dual-blade design provides excellent sustain, especially for string bending on the higher frets. For hum-free performance in all positions, go with the Cool Rails set. This pickup is a drop-in for any standard single-coil rout.

Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, the Cool Rails for Strat single-coil sized humbucker comes with a ceramic magnet, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is wax potted for squeal-free operation.

Neck/Middle position models will have the same output, wind direction and magnetic polarity.
